The UK ColdFusion Conference of the Year
CFDevCon 2008 will have three tracks taking place simultaneously for a whole two days of decadence in the Brighton Hilton Metropole. There will be speakers talking about topics ranging from Regular Expressions to APE Physics. There are over 25 speakers including Sean Corfield, Barney Boisvert, Hal Helms and many more.
History of the conference
The first ever CFDevCon was held in November 2006 and was a resounding success with around 200 attendees, which rivaled the first ever CFUnited in the USA. This was quite a feat, considering how tiny the UK is compared to the USA, and how few developers we have in comparison. Russ Michaels' goal was to bring to the UK a conference to follow the successes of other American ColdFusion related conferences. You can read about the success of the 2006 conference here.
Due to time constraints no conference happened in 2007, but for 2008 Russ now been joined by Nick Tong of CFFrameworks and CFCommunity fame and Richard Cooper of Property Owl.
